Danielle and Jon’s Asheville Gardens Elopement
The feeling of trust Danielle and Jon gave me was one for the books. Danielle and Jon first came to me as they were planning their wedding in St. Augustine Florida. After a few months of planning Danielle and Jon said screw it and decided to elope with 15 of their closest friends and family in Asheville North Carolina. Even though it was a misty day we make it through with out horrific weather. We started the day off at The Asheville Botanical Gardens where there family and friends met under the gazebo. Danielle and Jon celebrated their new beginning with a handing washing ceremony as their friends and family passed their rings around setting good intentions for their marriage.
All the details
Danielle and Jon visited Asheville a few year back and feel in love with everything it had to offer.
Danielle and Jon mentioned to me their love for the mountains and wilderness. When they approached me with the idea of going to Asheville I know we have to find the right place. I presented them with the Gardens as a location option and there was no going back!
During one of our many coffee and breakfast meetings Jon mentioned briefly that during their last visit to Asheville they ate dinner on the back of their car in a parking garage that had a beautiful view of the city and the mountains.
THE RAIN DID NOT STOP US! During the day there was a 100% chance of rain, but did that stop us? Hell no! And guess what... it was only a light sprinkle the entire day! Plus they always say rain on your wedding day in good luck!
When we stunk off for photos, their friends and family headed to The Blackbird for their reception brunch.
Danielle and Jon shared a unity joint while surrounded by the running creek and trees.
