Plan Ahead

  1. Plan ahead and make sure you have a list of all the shots you'd like to capture on your big day. Doing this will help ensure you don't miss any important moments and gives the photographer a clear idea of what you want.

Timeline Line

2. Have a timeline in place for the day. Make sure you plan out when you'd like the formal shots to be taken, what time the ceremony will start, and other key events throughout the day. The more information you can provide in advance, the smoother the day will go!

Give Direction

3. Don't be afraid to give your photographer direction. Let them know your vision and what type of photos you're looking for. Your photographer is there to capture the day in the best way possible! Trusting in their artistic abilities is important but if you want a specific photos or have an idea so not be afraid to tell us.

Schedule Alone time

4. Make sure to take some time for just the two of you. Having a few moments alone with your new spouse will help you relax and take in the moment. Wither that time after your first look or before you get introduced into your reception. Scheduling 20-ish minutes to soak it all in together is a must!

Enjoy your day

5. Have fun! Your wedding is a day to enjoy and remember forever, so make sure to have fun and make the most of it. Your photographer will capture all those moments that you'll cherish forever. Don’t sweat the small stuff!
